Q. Compose a story from the following title -
Slow and steady wins the race.
Answer :-
A Hare and A Tortoise
There was a hare. He lived in a forest. A tortoise also lived in a pool nearby. The hare could run very and so he was very proud of his speed. He often laughed at the slow speed of the tortoise. The tortoise could not bear this insult for long. One day he challenged the hare to a race. The hare laughed at the idea. He was sure to win. He accepted the challenge. They fixed a goal. The race started. The hare run fast and left the tortoise far behind. It was very hot. The hare stopped to take some rest under a tree. As he was taking rest in the cool shade of the tree, he took a nap and fell fast asleep. He slept too long. In the meantime the tortoise walked and walked and reached the goal. After some time the hare woke up. He thought that the tortoise wood still be lagging behind. He started again but when he reached the goal, he found to his surprise that the tortoise was already sitting there. The hare felt greatly ashamed. He learnt a good lesson. He never laughed at the tortoise after that.
Moral - Slow and steady wins the race. or Pride goes before a fall.
